Bournemouth Celebrant

So, you have fallen in love with a venue but the registrar isn’t available on the date or time you've chosen or you want your wedding to take place somewhere that is special but it doesn't have a marriage ceremony license. Perhaps the prospect of a quick and restrictive civil ceremony with a standardised script just like everyone else’s doesn’t float your boat and you want something much more personal and meaningful? After all, the ceremony should be the most important part of the day so why wouldn't you want that to be just perfect too?

Don’t worry! With a bespoke celebrant-led wedding ceremony, you can have the most memorable and beautiful ceremony and enjoy complete freedom over the style and content. It’s very simple; the legal proceedings are conducted separately from the ceremony. Only a few 'declaratory' and 'contracting' words need to be performed in front of a registrar and two witnesses in order for your marriage to be recognised in law and for you to be issued with a certificate. This simplest registration option is inexpensive and takes literally a few minutes. The wedding ceremony itself (including the exchange of rings and vows, readings and music) is purely symbolic and can take place anywhere and at any time.

More and more couples nowadays are choosing to get the legal formalities completed earlier in the day or a few days beforehand in order to have the kind of ceremony they have always dreamt of. Whether it's formal and traditional or alternative and quirky, humanist, pagan or with a blended religious or cultural content, Christina is a highly talented and experienced wedding celebrant whose reputation for creating and delivering amazing ceremonies is second to none. With her professional background in research, lecturing, acting and writing she has the ideal skill set and she is a fully trained member of the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants. She is based in Dorset but is willing to travel.
