Frieda and the Moon

Frieda and the Moon is a magical Cornish smallholding near Looe, created for exquisite elopements and small weddings of up to 20 people. Set amid rolling countryside with views towards the coast, it offers quirky on-site accommodation, licensed ceremony spaces, and a bespoke, one-of-a-kind approach to tiny weddings, anniversaries, mini-moons and handfasting ceremonies.

Licensed venues include The Studio — a timber-framed sanctuary with Italianate ceiling, oak floors, wood-burning stove and stained-glass Ocean Window — plus outdoor ceremonies on the Circular Lawn or at the Hornbeam Circle. Couples can hold their legal wedding indoors or outdoors, with The Studio available as wet-weather cover when using the Hornbeam Circle.

On-site stays include The Tabernacle and The Observatory: secluded, romantic and luxurious. Weddings are usually held on Tuesdays and Saturdays from April through to October. The small team specialises in curating personal, detail-rich celebrations — from simple and intimate to fully styled with extras such as live music, unique ring-bearers and woodland ceremonies.
