Send the same question list to every venue on your shortlist. You are testing clarity as much as price.

1. Is the date exclusive to your wedding?
2. What is included in the hire fee — and what is not?
3. Ceremony licence status and maximum numbers indoors/outdoors
4. Preferred and exclusive suppliers (catering, bar, DJ)
5. Noise curfew and last-dance time
6. Rain plan for outdoor ceremonies and photos
7. Deposit, balance schedule and cancellation terms
8. Parking, coaches and overnight rooms nearby
